We have listened to comments, and wants from our riders and started to put together a bit of a noticeboard area on our website to allow Cycle Clubs and Cycle Event organisers to put their information online for us to share.
We hope this will allow us to meet our wants of developing riders and using our rides as a stepping stone onto club rides, and also helps us meet one of the Do You Ride? Strategy requirements of developing a framework for riders to develop.
We want to promote choice, so we wont just promote one club. We want riders to know whats out there. We want you to be in the know.

Well we have been working with Custom Sports Clothing to bring our Otley Sportive Cycling Organisation Jersey to reality. Thanks to our partners BHP Mitchells and Chevin Cycles we have a really nice professional looking jersey to be proud of.
How to get your hands on one...
Our jerseys are excellent quality, full length zip, zipped back pocket and sports cut. They are unisex. They cost our riders £38 and available from Chevin Cycles shop or direct from us.
They will be in stock in about 4-6 weeks time. We will confirm here shortly.
Our first FlashMob Cycle Ride is on the 21st April. The route will be a classic run across to Bolton Abbey and back finishing with Coffee and Tea at Chevin Cycles. We will stop at the Cavendish Pavillion in Bolton Abbey. This route will be 25 miles and will have two groups - easy tempo and medium tempo.
We are in the process of setting up some womens only rides. We think these rides will be of 10-30 mile routes initially starting from Otley - however we want to know what women cyclists want?

The Do You Ride Community Cycling Strategy is a combined effort to improve Otley as a Cycling Town. With working groups set up to establish the action plan.
We've put some of the Do You Ride? Information online HERE however will complete later today (Sun 10th March)
As you maybe aware that the Social Series was born out of a partnership with Otley Cycle Club. Otley Sportive were really proud to be involved with a regular set of rides that allowed individuals to access riding on a social basis that was aimed at individuals who liked an easy tempo and encouraging environment.
The Social Series set of rides was initially the leisure section of Otley Cycle Club, and with a few tweaks we managed to get new faces being involved. Going forward, Otley Sportive will continue to focus on its original core focus which was Cycling Events and Community Cycling.
Otley Cycle Club will lead the rides on a Sunday morning. All information about the rides will be on www.otleycycleclub.co.uk and you can follow them on twitter search ‘@otleycycleclub’. You can also get involved in the club by becoming a OCC member.
You will have noticed we are updating our webpages to make it more user friendly and have a greater appeal to people. It also allows us to do some amazingly fun stuff. Please be patient and allow us some time to get fully up and running.
Thank you
